I'm running for election to the Council of the Society and to the Commission on
Phylogenetic Nomenclature, and hereby promise to do something about that if
elected. I haven't been kept in the loop either since my last possible
consecutive term on the CPN ended a few years ago; I was sent version 6 only as
a response to a question I sent to an old list of society members.

The changes aren't that large, though; electronic publication is by far the
most important.
And yes, Phylonyms and the Code are expected to come out very soon.
