I am sorry if my post offended David or anyone else, and if I have 
misstated his views I freely apologize - I replied to him and the list 
because my tendency is to hit "Reply All" when I post to lists to avoid 
sending to the wrong address. I repeat, I am not suggesting that any one 
person is at fault here.  MANY posts by different people on this list 
have contributed to this discussion, and I guess I was responding to a 
cumulative feeling of unhappiness on my part because, as I said, I know 
and respect Storrs Olson and think he deserves better than he has been 
made to appear (NOT specifically by David Marjanovic) on this list, and 
I think Alan Feduccia has also made valuable contributions to science 
even though I think he has gone over the line in the way he has attacked 
those who believe otherwise than he does on this issue.  I am quite 
happy to call Creationists unmentionable, though (I only wish they were!).

And I am never afraid of being honest, which is why I submitted the post.
