    It's nice that someone with experience and discernment agrees with my
assessment.

    By contrast, another list member, who apparently has no experience with
the book, made a snide comment.  That seems unfair and might convince some
on the list to miss a rewarding reading experience.  It would seem prudent
to avoid making comments upon a new book until experience has caught up with
private emotions.
