Re: Acoelous?

acoelous mean? Just to clear things up, from front to
back, I know the following terms mean:

opisthocoelous- convex-concave
procoelous- concave-convex

What are amphicoelous, amphiplatyan and platycoelous?>

opisthocoelous- convex-concave "posterior hollow" (_(
procoelous- concave-convex "forward hollow" )_)
amphicoelous- concave-concave "both hollow" )_(
amphiplatyan- flat-flat "both flat" |_|
platycoelous- flat-concave "flat hollow" |_(

'acoelous'- "no hollow" ?- (_)

Could be the same as amphiplatyan, or the unique
morphology as indicated in the posteriormost dorsals
in alvarezsaurs, double convex central facets. I am
not familiar with ankylosaur vertebral morphology, so
excuse my ignorance.
