   As I recall there were two expeditions into north-eastern Washington 
last summer, one the the Burke Museum in Seattle and one by Horner/Museum 
of the Rockies. Neither has announced anything other then ferns, fish, 
etc. but all of the (about) right age.
  There would be no surface finds in central and southern eastern 
Washington due to the flood basalts that cover everything.
