Yes there are paleo classes at UW - and at Western Washington too. Peter 
Ward teaches invert paleo, and paleobiology, Jon Rensberger teaches vert 
paleo., and I teach a dinsoaur class, and a history of life class in the 
evenings thorugh UW Extension, largely, but not exclusively for K-12 
teachers, and those in the M.Ed. program. And at WWU Thor Hansen teaches 
paleo classes.

As for the "tons of dinsoaurs"in eastern Washington - it is pure 
speculation, with no evidence (yet). USGS folk are mapping the area now and 
hopefully they will be able to figure out if these formations are even 
the right age!
