This press release contains links to the online version of the International
Code of Phylogenetic Nomenclature, its book version, the book version of
Phylonyms, and to the beta version of RegNum, the registration database for
established names and definitions. In other words, regulated phylogenetic
nomenclature is now up and running.
I recommend that everyone interested in publishing a name or definition read
the entire Code â at 22 chapters or (in paper format) 149 pages, it is much
shorter than the rank-based codes and frankly much more readable. But read the
press release first. :-)
