[dinosaur] Party like it's 1758!

Or 1753 if you're a botanist. :-)

This press release contains links to the online version of the International Code of Phylogenetic Nomenclature, its book version, the book version of Phylonyms, and to the beta version of RegNum, the registration database for established names and definitions. In other words, regulated phylogenetic nomenclature is now up and running.

I recommend that everyone interested in publishing a name or definition read the entire Code – at 22 chapters or (in paper format) 149 pages, it is much shorter than the rank-based codes and frankly much more readable. But read the press release first. :-)
