hmm - like lagoons, where we find out specimens. And chickens and
grouse and road runners. They do the same thing from the ground.
Nothing in Evans is convincing the likelihood that Archaeopteryx didn't
have a running launch. In fact, it does the opposite. The technique
developed for aquatic birds would likely be adopted by early flyers
without the power stroke for vertical lift.
