Sorry to be late. I'm a mammal and a therapsid, but I'm not a snake or a
lizard. This is the fault of my ancestors, so blame them.
You misread. Jason said "calling a mammal a therapsid, or a snake a lizard",
not "calling a mammal a therapsid or a snake or a lizard".
I don't have much of a problem with being a therapsid. I certainly have the
thickened and raised "beast arch", right under (uh... ventral, not medial
to) my glasses.
