In the book the C.megalodon couldn't come to the surface during the day, 
since the light hurt it's eyes (all those millennia living at the bottom of 
the ocean supposedly gave the species super-sensitive eyesight). 

I wonder how close to the book it'll be? (A stupid question, really, since 
most movies deviate from their literary origins - sometimes to a huge extent)

At least Japanese 'researchers' will like the movie (if whales in the movie 
get as hard a time as they did in the book). :)
