Regarding the resistance of some academic Egyptologists to fully embrace
the electronic medium:   I was once told by an cultural anthropologist
friend that the *very* small community of Egyptologists is a tad
cloistered (clannish?) in its ways.  They are slowly creeping into the
21st Century.  Give 'em a couple more years.  There's a couple "Young
Turks" who are rattling the cage.

Paleontologists are SO far evolved in their attitude about mass
distribution of science to laypeople.
