Hi All -- please forward this to anyone -- and I mean anyone! -- to whom you
think this may be of interest (and to other geoscientific listservers, too!)

CALL FOR PAPERS
for a special issue of the
New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Bulletin
covering all facets of the global, terrestrial
Triassic-Jurassic transition.
This volume is a follow-up to the successful "Tracking Dinosaur Origins:
The Triassic/Jurassic Terrestrial Transition" conference held in St. George,
UT March 14-16, 2005. This volume is open to any and all papers concerning
terrestrial ecosystems in the Late Triassic and Early Jurassic and changes
across the boundary. We welcome papers on:
* Plants
* Invertebrates
* Vertebrates
* Trace fossils
* Paleoecology, paleoclimatology, and paleogeography
* Stratigraphy and biostratigraphy
* Dating, paleomagnetics, etc.
* Site reports
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Bulletin has an
established history of publishing important thematic volumes, including The
Nonmarine Triassic and Lower and Middle Cretaceous Terrestrial Ecosystems,
and the volume on the Triassic-Jurassic transition is intended as a
companion to these pre-existing collections. The Triassic-Jurassic
transition volume will be edited by Spencer Lucas, Jim Kirkland, Jerry D.
Harris, and Andrew R.C. Milner.

Papers of any length will be considered, and there are no page charges.
Please send all submissions as double-spaced, single-sided documents
formatted as per recent issues of the Bulletin. Please direct questions
concerning the formatting to Spencer Lucas (SLucas@nmmnh.state.nm.us);
questions about any other aspect of the publication should be directed to
Jim Kirkland (jameskirkland@utah.gov) or Jerry Harris (jharris@dixie.edu).
