Well I'll prove your "probably" wrong to start with.
I remember making a total hash of such things as a SDK
(single-digit kid) in the old Hall of Dinosaurs in the Natural History
Museum in London, and since I'm just off the telephone trying to arrange
flights into the country for my artistically-inclined step-daughter, this
obviously rings bells. Particularly since said daughter is keen to spend
some time in "The Smoke".
From running this program, have you ( / your institution) got any
notes about problems / benefits that might encourage other institutions to
try programs like this?
Anyone from the NHM listening (or the Scottish National Museum in
Edinburgh, Hunterian in Glasgow)? I don't recall seeing any mention of
such a program in the "what's happening this quarter" leaflets I
occasionally get from the NHM.
