Class on drawing dinosaurs, birds, bones
This is probably of interest only to western Washington state folks, but
I thought I'd pass it along anyway. The teacher is a very talented local
wildlife and technical artist who has been teaching these two classes for
years. If you are vacationing in the area, it might be a fun sideline
for a couple days.

DRAWING DINOSAURS
Classes held: Thursday and Friday, July 14 & 15
12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Learn the basics of drawing dinosaurs. Students will use dinosaur models
and other references to learn how to draw dinosaurs with local artist and
illustrator D. W. Miller's guidance. For ages 8 to adult. Materials
included in fee. Registration closes July 7.
Classes will take place at the Whatcom Museum Suyre Education Center

DRAWING BIRDS AND BONES
Tuesday and Wednesday, July 12 & 13
12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Materials included with fee
Artist and illustrator D. W. Miller will guide students in independent
sketching using the Museum's bird collection. Instructor will also bring
his own collection of skulls to class and teach an introduction to the
carbon dust method of scientific illustration. Participants will work at
their own pace and interest level. For ages 8 to adult. Registration
closes July 5.
