Archie von Solnhofen is an Upper Jurassic flying theropod, Dora. It's wings
and flight feathers indicate it certainly took to the air. Teeth of
Archaeopteryx have also been found at an earlier location; Guimarota in
Portugal. It's Kimmeridgian, and is regarded as something like 153 million
years old (going by memory).
