Of course, I thank Frank and the DML. Some persons seem to be unaware of
the difficulty a paleontologist can find in obtaining an economical support
for a paleontological research in many countries of the world. Paleontology
is not seen by politicians, by academic authorities and even by directors
of Natural History Museums as a priority or a strategic field of research.
Every day is a fighting day. In my experience, this regards not only the
dinosaur science - that has a privileged position in the public attention -
but also other interesting topics like the earliest pterosaurs and the Late
Triassic sauropterygian gap.
Anyway, I understand that in a list with many members there can be
different points of view and different opinions. This is a good thing.
