People, this is the Grand Unifying Theory of molecular evolution!!! And we
really have to ask why nobody found this out 20 years ago!!!

OK -- it lacks the proposed effect that species with large body sizes have
small populations and therefore faster genetic drift. This could perhaps
explain why Fig. 4 overcompensates the divergence dates of *Mus*-*Rattus*
and Hystricognathi-erm... rest of Rodentia minus Sciurognathi, I think.
Now it's clear why nematodes etc. evolve so fast!
