Just oout of curiosity, when were the dinosaur eggs beds from Mt Ste
Victoire (south of France) found?
These discoveries are attributed to French paleobotanist Louis Charles
Joseph Gaston Saporta (or Gaston de Saporta; 1823?96). The fossil eggs
attributed to the sauropod _Hypselosaurus priscus_ were found in 1869 I
believe, or thereabouts. There is a suggestion that these eggs may actually
have been laid by a _Gargantuavis_-like flightless bird rather than
_Hypselosaurus_.
Then of course there's the oviraptorid eggs discovered in 1922 in the Gobi
Desert.
Was it Horner who did the find?
Unless you believe in reincarnation, probably not.
