Referring to the hypothesis that a forelimb-flapping _Microraptor gui_ may
have held its amply feathered hind limbs in an inverted "V" position, James
R. Cunningham wrote:

I respond:
I don't know. If you were _Microraptor gui_ back in the Early Cretaceous,
how would you propose locomoting with your feathered appendages?
