Subject: Weights

Greetings all,

I've been collecting weight estimates from various sources, and some
of them look absolutely ridiculous. I'm well aware 1) of the problems
with methodology (and the total lack of it in many cases) and 2) the
different body types, BUT is anyone prepared to suggest a weight range
for various lengths so that crazy weights can be eliminated (and if
you think this can only be done for general dinosaur groupings feel
free to pass on your ideas for different groups - eg an acceptable
weight range for tyrannosaurs in general, or better, for particular
lengths).

I know Mickey Mortimer has posted on this topic recently - maybe you
like to share your scaling factors etc, Mickey?

Thanks
Graeme Worth
