revision of Ichthyornis (the first since 1880) --
should be in your library, David. But, briefly:

There are other synonymies and names, but this is the
essential list.

As far as Ambiortus is concerned, as Julia Clarke
documents, this taxon has no synapomorphies supporting
a sister taxon relationship with Ichthyornidae
(converted clade name), and I refer you to her fig.
