Shar Tsav age
Recently it has been suggested that the Shar Tsav locality is of
Nemegtian age. Does anyone know why? Perhaps large hadrosaur tracks suggest
the presence of Saurolophus angustirostris. T. Maryanska, however, mentioned
a Barungoyotian age for the locality, which yielded Quaesitosaurus. If Shar
Tsav is of Barungoyotian age, it may correlate with the upper Wangshi
series, so maybe the giant Shantungosaurus made the tracks.
