HANZAB

In my haste in typing, I should have noted the senior
coordinating editor is Stephen Marchant, and that the
5th volume is available. The projected 7 volume series
is scheduled for completion in 2004. Each volume is
$200+...meaning that, as is the habit in academic
publishing houses (limited editions at exorbitant
prices to cover the publishing expenses [paper,
binding, photo reproduction]). those who could make
most use of the volumes (actual field avian
dinosaurologists) find them financially out-of-reach
until such time as television documentaries make funds
available. Needless to say, the volumes are
well-organized, complementing the Birds of Africa in
regional overviews of theropods.
