for the Idea of Isolated Teeth

Now there's a resonant title.
Note that it's not Implications for the _Interpretation_ of these 
strays, the very concept has come under question.
>From my vast ignorance, let me hazard that after 620 pages, HP 
Smith was able to resolve his confusions, and determine that 
isolated teeth do in fact exist.
That's why they call it a Ph(ilosophy) D(octorate), folks.
Now I, too, can sleep.
