Then could anyone explain what megalosaur means? Defines it as having a synapomorhy of a shortened forearm. Does he mean megalsauridae=theropoda?

AFAIK, a megalosaur is a megalosaurid. Only certain theropods have very short forearms.

Could anyone tell me what is creosaurus?

IIRC, it is a junior synonym of Allosaurus.
