Some brief news: Josh Smith wedding, and Greg Paul's book

Greetings, all!

Just got back yesterday from a long-awaited event: the wedding of dinosaur
paleontologist Josh Smith and geoarchaeologist Jen Smith. A wonderful,
wonderful ceremony, combining Scottish, Blackfoot, and natural history
traditions (with Triassic-Jurassic diabase in the background)!! And a most
excellent reception!

Other paleo-types in presence were Matt Lamanna (best man), Jason "Chewie"
Poole (also in the wedding party), Peter Dodson, Ralph Chapman, Linda Deck,
Bob Walters, and Tess Kissinger. A great time was had by all.

When I got back, a copy of Greg Paul's Dinosaurs of the Air was present. It
is a larger format book than Predatory Dinosaurs, which means that the
illustrations are far less crowded. A must buy!

Take care, everyone. Off to inflict Precambrian and Paleozoic pain (aka, the
second exam in Historical Geology)...
