Fwd: paleonet Science world in revolt at power of the journal owners



Since this subject has come up on the lists recently, and since I have not 
seen any mention of it yet, please read on. This could really put the screws 
on authors and subscribers to many dino related journals and media that 
publish dino related articles.

Elsevier-Harcourt merger would give one company control over journals
representing 42% of a typical university's spend in that area". I didn't
bookmarked the URL but you can find it using "Guardian Elsevier Harcourt" as
key-words. I know what S.B. is thinking
