I sort of figured that would be the case and am glad  this is so as I intend 
to fly there regardless! I only hope that my flight times do not change too 
drastically. As it stood before the attack, my flight  doesn't arrive until 
1PM on the first day. So even under the supposed "ideal" conditions prior to 
the attack, I would have lost much of the first day. And,  according to the 
program, a number of the talks that I really wanted to see are going to be 
missed. somebody take good notes for me please!

Also, to those who were previously informed that I would be bringing casts 
and fossils, forget about that now. Nearly every time I travelled with same 
well before now, I was routinely stopped and given extra inspection-including 
swavbbing of my carry on especaiily departing  BWI as a matter of _routine_. 
Furthermore, I understand carry on will be significantly be restricted if not 
disallowed though I do hope to be able to carry on a camera case and lenses.

The upside is at least, there will be more room on the to return for books 
and related items! I only bring up the above as food for thought for other 
travellers who might be considering bringing casts and fossils of dinosaur 
material as well. So I hope this is not regarded as too off -topic.
