Stop discussing "Primal Dude"

Overall I've been disappointed with the way that the list has
responded to "Primal Dude"'s message.  Everyone here should have known
Mary and I won't tolerate messages such as Mr. Dude sent, and many of
you put us in the position of wondering how much leeway we should give
to the responses since some of you at least arguably flamed Mr. Dude
right back.  Mary and I both contemplated shutting down the thread
yesterday, but opted to let the list calm down of its own accord.
Perhaps that was a mistake.  Now people are starting to discuss what
we in list management should or shouldn't have done without even
bothering to ask us what we did.  That stops NOW.

As always, discussion of list administration should occur with the
list administrators and NOT with the list.  Farthermore, we will not
tolerate any more discussion of Mr. Dude as an individual.  Talk as
much as you want about the origin of birds, but do not talk about how
to talk about the origin of birds.

Let's try to stay focused and productive, okay?

As per administrative rule 8h, failure to heed my "advice" may result
in the suspension of your privilege to participate on the dinosaur
list.  If you want to send something that you think might be now
banned, send it to me or Mary for approval ahead of time or suffer our
judgement afterwards.  If you're itching to flame anyone or anything
