I think there's no JP necessarely needed to inspire paleontologist or
paleoartist vocations.
WDRA or WWD can work in the same way. In my case, I still drew reptile
characters for comic strip when I saw JP1 on TV (poor dinosaurs!). It didn't
inspire me at all. But last year I saw WWD... and here I am!
Sure I'm not the only one.
