Perhaps all that we have evidence left of is a "remnant population" of the
last surviving titanosaurs in NA while the ones we would expect to find
evidence of farther north had gone extinct, maybe due to competitive
exclusion of some type.  Who knows?  There may have been several migration
episodes and all we have evidence of is this one small, late arriving 
group that was maybe able to only establish itself in this aprt of NA.
