Well, I guess lagosuchus (/marasuchus) is primitive enough, having all
preexisting features, to be considered grandfather of all dinosaurs.

_Lagosuchus_ (which is different to _Marasuchus_, although the two are very closely related), is probably better thought of as the great-uncle of dinosaurs. I don't believe it was directly ancestral.

(In cosesaurus some see a precursor to pterosaurs,
and other`s see "avian" characteristics)......although I haven`t tried to
draw it as yet, it may prove an interesting project

The latest study of _Cosesaurus aviceps_ (that I know of) put it in among the Prolacertiformes. It's "birdy" characters (like the triangular shape of the skull in profile) are very dubious.
