Re: T-Rex hunting habits?

>>My question is: Could this have been T-Rex's hunting method, i.e. moving
in fast, biting, and waiting for its victim to collapse from loss of blood?
Is there any speculation out there on this? No one around here seems to
know much about it and I realize it may be impossible to prove.<<

I believe that Gregory Paul wrote almost the exact same theory down in Predatory
Dinosaurs of the World. He believed that not just Tyrannosaurs, but almost
_all_
carnivorous dinosaurs hunted in that way (inflicting damage and then waiting for
prey to bleed to death). His chief evidence was the teeth of the dinosaurs in
question, which were serrated on both edges to better cut through, not hold,
flesh. I think the theory's a good one, although there may be some counter
evidence dug up since PDW was published.
