Plundered fossils...

I find this articles sensationalism almost too much to stomach. While I
recognize that fossils are "stolen", I look at parts of this article as
absurd. The law enforcement officer returned home to find two cats necks
broken... and we are supposed to attribute that to fossil theives trying to
get back at him? This guy is extremely paranoid, and the article feeds that
kind of neurosis for the way it attempts to relate situations in the officers
life to fossil theives. I find the article tends to dicredit itself and its
vauable information with this kind of sensationalism. Carl
