A question came up in my Invertebrate Paleo class today that we did not
know the answer to.  I was wondering if anyone out there knew.  The
question is "Did dinosaurs walk from heel to toe like humans do?"

After reading all the answers by our astute group of readers, I don't think
the actual question had been answered, heel to toe. Regardless whether or
not dinosaurs had heels to begin with, it depends on which dinosaur and what
family are being talked about. Some dinosaurs walked with their hind feet
directly under the body (some qudrapeds and some bipeds), hence heel to toe,
with various degrees of breath between the feet toward the outside of the
center body line.
