Monolophosaurus is a *basal* carnosaur?  Zhao and Currie (1993) opine
that M. is more advanced than Sinraptor and Yangchuanosaurus, which
would put if pretty far from, say Cryolophosaurus, wouldn't it?

Has there been a reappraisal of the traits of M.?
