I know of no micro studies of Longisquama feathers, nor have I heard of a
group of paleontologists rushing off to Russia to view Longisquama specimens.
Nor has Longisquama ever been in the news. When Longisquama is as thoroughly
studied as Sinosauropteryx et al. have been, then we'll have some basis for
comparisons. Meanwhile, Longisquama remains a low-profile specimen pretty
much overlooked in the dinosaur-bird discussion.
