Re: Floatin' Ankylosaurs

Matt Bonnan wrote ... something I snipped out.

Anyway, the Sculpey idea is workable, they have this
material at the local supermarket. I'll try to find
materials to simulate lung, heart, gut, and so-on
space, then work out various models.

One question that pops up in my mind. Given the
relative flexibility of the neck, how much could
ankylosaurs raise their heads? (IE, keep their noses
out the water?) I need references that deal with the
cervical morphology of ankylosaurs, in anyone's got
the time. Will check my own books and refs to see if I
can grab a ref. from elsewhere.

Thanks for the comments, Matt, and the idea to work
out something I hadn't thought of. Partly, I had hoped
that discussion might have proved helpful in
disproving any point I'd made.
