Re: Tyrannosaurus Shop Talk

John Rafert has gently reminded me that much imagery of Tyrannosaurus
models exists at his website, Dinosaur Art and Modeling at:
http//www.indyrad.iupui.edu/public/jrafert/dinoart.html which is pretty much
the last word as a dinosaur model site. Go to his menu then click on
Tyrannosaurs.
I also meant sites like the Museum of the Rockies at
http://museum.montana.edu/ The pose of their mount really surprised me--a
feeding (?) pose with tail up and head down. Both Paul and Henderson have
done this pose. It's gorgeous.
At the risk of repeating myself, I'm interested in what the "connoisseur"
looks for when they judge Tyrannosaurus imagery. Call it cheap research. Dan
Varner.
