This is because they are pulled from the mold and stood on their feet
before being allowed to cool properly, causing the deformity. Were they
allowed the necessary time to cool, they would retain the correct shape
regardless of the elasticity in the plastic. The cast resin of the
_Tyrannosaurus_ used to create the mold for the toy stands bipedally and
horizontally just fine, as do the resins of the _Acrocanthosaurus_ and
_Pachycephalosaurus_.
