Re: Dinosaur TV Week

Betty, et al:

I didn't mean to ignore any characters in the film, but I felt that a
major review and character listing of a minor film, that most of the actors
would rather ignore, wasn't called for. An summary of what was happenning,
and how it relates to dinosaurs, as well as information about some of the
interesting cast members, I felt sufficient for the list's use.

It was a nice fun film - especially for kids - their heroes win, and
they get to see neat things. [One additional note: While everyone was
descended from dinosaurs, and yet looked like us humans, the implications
that all things are at their root related was used. The old king was taken
back (devo-ed -- remember Devo?) past his dinosaurian ancestors, past his
reptilian ancestors, past his fish ancestors, all the way to a primordial
fungus!]. Yes, we have a lot of misconceptions to clear up - but most
children DO know the difference between fiction and reality.
