The very first article I wrote for my How to Draw Dinosaur series in
Prehistoric Times was on Sauropod feet. 

There is only one claw on the fore foot, on the thumb. On the hind feet
Diplodocids have 3 claws, from digit 1-3. Some sauropods have 2 claws
while others have 4.
