Sauropod at the Vernel Field Museum
While on my trip, on the way to Dino Nat'l Monument, I was at
Vernel(sp),and saw their field museum and dinosaur gardens. One thing I
noticed was the hind feet...they looked....just plain WRONG!!!!
It appeared, at least to me, that the hind feet were clawed, the same as
the forefeet, only the big claw on the innermost toe was a little
blunter, rounder. It's feet certaintly don't look like they do in my
dinosaur books...TOO many claws.
Is this how a Diplodocus' feet are supposed to look, or am I correct in
thinking that it was wrong?
