I'm not sure I understand the "They have had a decade and more to
perfect their skill" line. I may have only had my work *published* over
the last decade, but I've been drawing since I was four or five, nigh
unto *four* decades. By this point, I *better* have perfected my skill,
or I've chosen the wrong career. ;-)
