Dinosaur Nicknames
Just for fun....nicknames given to specific dinosaur specimens.
Here are a few:
"Fran" -- Acrocanthosaurus (the one from McCurtain County, Oklahoma)
"Sue" -- Tyrannosaurus rex (the one on the auction block)
"Scotty"-- Tyrannosaurus rex (from Saskatchewan)
"Stan" -- Tyrannosaurus rex
"Duffy" -- Tyrannosaurus rex
"Black Beauty" -- Tyrannosaurus (from Alberta)
"Claws" -- Baryonyx (from England)
"Nancy" -- Nuerosaurus chaganensis ("Dinosaurs of China" touring exhibit)
