There was a brief Dell or Gold Key series called "Kona, Monarch of Monster
Isle" that featured a cave man whom Time forgot and assorted dinosaurs.
The best source for dinosaurs in comics is Glut's _Dinosaur Scrapbook_.
The cover art for the Kona series was pretty good, and there was one
fantastic Tarzan comic cover I remember with a T. rex that was
outstanding, painted by Earl Norem I think.

And let us not forget--Alley Oop.
