Fortunately the actual movie Lost World, was nothing like the
film one would have expected based on the rumours following
the release of Jurassic Park - I seem to recall some being as
wild as this current 'Ice Age' rumour.  Surely there are enough
possible plot scenarios available without coming up with something
quite that ridiculous.

Mind you, someone thought up 'Volcano', so I suppose anything is
possible

Some of the more environmentally aware dinosaurs were worried about the
consequences of an accident with the new Iridium enriched fusion reactor.
