As the sender of the attachment in question, I guess I better come out
and say something before this becomes a thread. Sorry! The other
lists, newsgroups, correspondences etc. that I commonly associate with
don't think anything of sending attachments, so I didn't either. If it
inconvenienced anyone (which it must have, or I wouldn't have heard
anything about it) then I apologize.
I guess I should have realized that a list dedicated to studying an
extinct group of animals might be using nearly extinct e-mail systems as
well, rather than the new warm-blooded variety that can handle so much
more at faster speeds (that was a joke, BTW)
