I'd like to point out that the correct usage of 'MORPHING' in computer
animation has nothing to do with this effect of size changes but rather
when one bitmap image is pushed or stretched to replace another bitmap
image (like the creature-swapping effect in the movie WILLOW.  In
models, replacing (by stretching and warping) one model with another
model is "INTERPOLATION".

These may not YET be paleontology glossary terms, but you guys better
get with it.  
This is the 90's after all!
